The weather made for a very wild night in some parts of the Magic Valley last night. The national weather service says wind gusts reached up to 73 miles per hour in the Twin Falls area. As you can imagine the storm left quite a mess with broken branches, downed trees and broken power lines. In the Minidoka county area the storm took down five Bonneville power lines leaving most of the county in the dark for hours.  Parts of Cassia county were also left without power. Idaho power says about 560 of  its customers between Twin Falls and Buhl  also experienced power outages.
