Evel Knievel's family plans a special event in Twin Falls on September 1, 2024, marking the 50th anniversary of his iconic Snake River Canyon jump.

If you thought the Snake River Canyon jump looked amazing from the ground, wait until you see it from a camera that was mounted on Eddie Braun's rocket.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Eddie Braun’s public relations office released a statement about the stuntman’s successfully flying over the Snake River Canyon in a high-powered rocket on Friday afternoon. The statement, which was issued Friday night, reads:

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – At a little before 4 p.m. Friday, Eddie Braun did what his hero Evel Knievel couldn’t do in 1974 – successfully cross the Snake River Canyon in a high-powered Skycycle.
