Five snowmobilers and a cross country skier are back home safe and sound after being lost yesterday in the South Hills.  The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s office reported yesterday that five area residents, including a 7 year old, were snowmobiling in the South Hills yesterday.

Recent cuts in federal funding have already resulted in the closure of the Jerome office of the South Central Community Action Partnership.  That closure took place earlier this year.

The South Central Community Action Partnership is going through some troubling times right now.  Over Twenty employees who had been hired to weatherize homes over the past two years are being laid off because the federal stimulus money is now gone.
