Beginning tonight the city of Twin Falls will have a new City Manager.  Current Assistant City Manager Travis Rothweiler will be sworn in at the city council meeting.  He’s replacing City Manager Tom Courtney who’s been in that position for 34 years.  The 39 year old Rothweiler has introduced several upgrades to the city during his short tenure with new financial accounting tools, a five-year budget projection and changed utility billing to accept credit and debit cards.  This Thursday a farewell party will be held for Courtney at the Herrett Center on the CSI Campus from 2 until 4 p.m.  The public is invited to attend.  Some city offices will be closed during the event.
