[/caption](KLIX)- A number of fires started up on Sunday as a result of thunderstorm activity. The largest is the Owinza fire just north of Hazelton. At last estimated it has burned roughly 34,507 acres as of Monday afternoon. Several aircraft and fire engines are working on that blaze. It was reported at around 5pm Sunday. It is more than 85% contained and should be controlled late Tuesday. Also the Rattle Snake Butte fire has burned about 625 acres 15 miles east of Minidoka. It started in the late morning yesterday and has a number of resources and people battling it. The Malad Gorege Fire sparked early afternoon on Monday burning about 5 acres. The Clover Leaf Fire chard 33 acres just east of the Flying J Truck Stop just off of I-84. Fire officials believe it was human caused.
