At it’s regular meeting the Twin Falls City Council today will discuss pursuing judicial confirmation for a bond to overhaul the city’s wastewater treatment plant in the Snake River Canyon.

The amount the Council will pursue to complete five projects at the plant is $7.5-million dollars.  The five projects are required to comply with both state and federal wastewater treatment regulations.  Judicial review is a process of getting permission from a judge to procure the bond rather than asking for approval of citizens through an election.  The newly assembled Citizen Finance Committee may also be involved in the project to find ways to pay for the projects.  The City Council will meet at 5 o’clock this afternoon to discuss the issue.
