A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11PM Thursday for Western Magic Valley-Southern Twin Falls County

The National Weather Service is Boise has issued a Winter Storm Warning.

SNOW AMOUNTS: Additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches with storm total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches through tonight.

Locally higher amounts are possible west of Twin Falls and Jerome.

WINDS: West 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 35 mph.

IMPACTS: Snow will result in dangerous driving conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means that significant amounts of snow will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
