The 2020 South Central Community Action Partnership Empty Bowls dinner and fundraiser event is coming up on Tuesday, March 3rd at the Canyon Crest Event Center. Doors open at 6 pm and tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door on the night of the event. Tickets can be purchased at the South Central Community Action Partnership offices or at Hands On in Downtown Twin Falls. Sponsor tables are $300 and have seating for eight people. Proceeds go to the South Central Community Action Partnership to help fight hunger in Southern Idaho and put food on the shelves of the many food banks they support.

This will be the 11th year for this great event in Twin Falls. The fundraiser includes a one-of-a-kind hand painted bowl and a variety of soups for those who attend. The event also includes music, prizes, auctions and raffles, and the exciting dessert dash.

Each year community members go to Hands on and paint hundreds of bowls to be given out at the event. This year there are around 300 unique bowls to choose from and they are first come first serve at the event, so get there early for the best variety. Check out some of the designs from previous years on the SCCAP Facebook page.

The Empty Bowls dinner and fundraiser will have a Mardi Gras theme, so attendees are allowed and encouraged to dress accordingly.
