KETCHUM, Idaho (KLIX) Winter has forced large wild animals to lower elevations to find food to get through the winter. Idaho Department of Fish and Game has reported large herds of elk and deer have come out of area mountains looking for something to eat. One small herd of deer decided to take a stroll through downtown Ketchum this week. Ketchum Pawn shared video on their Facebook page of the deer running down the middle of a street in the mountain resort town. Ketchum is no stranger to animals making their way into town. Elk are often seen in and around town during the winter. In the fall people come from all around the world to watch the Trailing of the Sheep.  Thanks to Kechum Pawn again for sharing the video.
