Continuous Snowfall Likely in Magic Valley
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Snow is likely to continue to fall in the Magic Valley into Tuesday, according to the Boise office of the National Weather Service.
According to an advisory issued Monday morning, snow totals will range from 3 to 7 inches over a 30-hour period. Drifting also is a possibility, compounding travel difficulties.
“In the Magic Valley and areas south, gusty westerly winds of 20 to 25 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow,” reads the advisory, “with the winds tapering off late tonight.”
Use caution while traveling, the NWS says, especially in open areas.
The Treasure Valley and eastern Idaho also will see continuous snowfall through Monday.
