Crews Keep Busy at New Twin Falls City Hall
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Work crews donning hard hats and yellow vests worked in the cold Friday morning at the site of the future City Hall in downtown Twin Falls.
The 42,000 square-foot building, site of the former Banner Furniture store at the corner of Main Avenue East and Hansen Street East, is on track to being completed later this year.
Property west of the building, where the Rogerson Hotel once stood, will become a community commons area with a splash fountain and where live performances and other events can take place.
City officials have said the new City Hall will accommodate the city’s needs for the next 40 to 50 years.
Above is a short video of the building as it looked on Friday, as crews worked in the cold in downtown.
