Former Idaho Olympian Headed to Trial in Domestic Violence Case

PARK CITY, Utah (AP) — Ex-Olympian Picabo Street, formerly of Idaho, is headed for a May trial on misdemeanor domestic violence charges in Utah after her lawyer pushed for a quick day in court that he says will exonerate the gold-medal skier.

Attorney Joe Wrona has asked that she be tried by a judge rather than a jury so the case could be heard more quickly.
