BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho's unemployment rate in February remained unchanged from the previous month at 3.9 percent.

The Idaho Department of Labor in a news release Friday says the state's nonfarm payrolls grew 0.2 percent last month. But there were slight decreases in wholesale trade, financial activities, leisure and hospitality and total government. The agency says Idaho's labor force remained unchanged at about 806,000.

Total employment remained relatively flat at 775,600, with the number of unemployed at about 31,000. The agency says the state's labor force rate remained the same as January at 64.1 percent. That's the percentage of people 16 and older with jobs or looking for work.
