If You Had To Move From Twin Falls, What Eatery Must You Visit?
In just a few short hours, I'll be leaving Idaho and moving to another state. This impending reality sparked a conversation among friends regarding which restaurant we'd absolutely have to eat at before leaving town.
Twin Falls has some great restaurants. Some of my personal favorites include La Casita, Twin Falls Sandwich Company, Anchor Bistro & Bar, Rock Creek, and Elevation 486. My wife and I have already chosen which Twin Falls eateries we are going to be hitting up before heading west on Friday.
In all our years visiting and living in Twin Falls, my wife and I both have preferred the same restaurant over all others. Elevation 486 has provided us with great memories, incredible views, good food, and a bar that is as inviting as any we've slammed beer and wine in since we met nearly 16 years ago. The outdoor firepit area alone has provided many an evening of good conversation and even better libations for myself, family, and friends over the past several years.
Graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, out-of-town guests--we've enjoyed every one of our outings to the 195 River Vista property that features one of the best Snake River Canyon views in the entire state of Idaho. If we can manage to get our home prepped for the new owner by our Friday afternoon deadline, we will most certainly be stopping by Elevation 486 for one final look down upon the Snake River, and an order of the Crispy Idaho Potato Skins with Melted Cheddar and Bacon.
