Boise Music Festival 2026: What You Need To Know Before You Go
The Boise Music Festival is one of my favorite summer traditions in the Treasure Valley. Thousands of people, incredible live music, carnival rides, amazing food, and an entire day spent celebrating summer with friends and family.

Everything You Need To Know Before You Go

Plus, don’t forget about the three local stages featuring more than 25 Idaho artists and bands throughout the day.
Whether you’re there for throwback hits, country, pop, rock, or discovering local talent, there’s something happening all day long.

Stay Hydrated Boise
June temperatures in the Treasure Valley can get pretty warm, especially when you’re spending an entire day outdoors. The forecast right now is saying upper 80's and lots of sunshine!

You can bring an empty water bottle into the festival and refill it at water stations located throughout Expo Idaho.
Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later.

Leave The Cooler At Home
Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the Boise Music Festival.

The good news? You won’t go hungry.
More than 40 food vendors will be on-site serving everything from festival favorites and barbecue to desserts and cold drinks.

Carnival Rides For The Whole Family
The Boise Music Festival carnival is a huge part of the experience.
Families can enjoy kid-friendly attractions, midway games, classic carnival rides, and thrill rides for the adventurous crowd.

Boise Music Festival Carnival Ride Ticket Options
Carnival Wristband + General Admission ($65)
Unlimited carnival rides plus festival admission.
Carnival Only ($35)
Perfect if you’ve already purchased admission.
Individual Ride Tickets
Available on-site for those who only want to ride a few attractions.

Parking And Transportation
One of the best things about BMF? Parking is free.
If you’d rather skip the parking lot, rideshare pickup and drop-off is located at the corner of Midway and Glenwood. That can be a great option if you’re planning to stay all day.

BMF Ticket Tips
If you’ve already purchased tickets online, have your QR code ready before you reach the gate.
Need tickets? No problem. General Admission, Carnival Passes, and Pit Passes will all be available for purchase at the gate on event day.
Bringing The Kids?
Children ages 8 and under receive free General Admission when accompanied by an adult.
One thing to note: Pit Pass entry requires a ticket regardless of age.

Know The BMF Re-Entry Rule
This is probably the biggest thing people forget every year. No re-entry will be allowed after 5:00 p.m. If you leave after that time, you won’t be able to come back into the festival. So, plan accordingly and make sure you have everything you need before heading out.

My Biggest BMF Tips
- Arrive early.
- Wear comfortable shoes.
- Bring sunscreen.
- Stay hydrated.
- Check out the local stages.
- Take lots of pictures.
- Try something you’ve never eaten before.
- Pace yourself because it’s a long day.
Most of all, have fun.

Whether you’re coming for Marshmello, Sean Paul, Everclear, the carnival rides, the local bands, or simply to spend a summer day with family and friends, the Boise Music Festival is one of the biggest parties Idaho throws all year.
I’ll see you out there this Saturday, June 27th!!
