A Huge All-Day Party Is Coming to the Boise River
It's by far one of the most anticipated dates of the entire summer--and with temperatures way up in the triple digits lately, many have been nearly living in the Boise River in an attempt to cool down and have some fun.
Just weeks ago, smoke made our air quality some of the worst anywhere in the world, all while temperatures were above one hundred degrees. Despite the fact that September is almost here, those hot temperatures seems to be going nowhere!
This is good news for folks that want to float the Boise River--especially since BlueBird Social has announced an 'end of float season' event!

Ready to be your own professional 'river guide' here in Boise!?
Bluebird Social is hosting 'Bluebird Riverfest' to take place on Saturday, August 29th
The all-day festival begins with a float on none other than the Boise River. While you and your friends make your way down the Boise River, there will be three river 'pit stops' where floaters can stop down or groove right on by, featuring local DJ's pointing you towards Bluebird Social.
Once you make your way to Bluebird Social, there will be a continuation of the all-day party (literally, it's going until 10:00 p.m.), featuring live music, drinks, food trucks, and Hans Glader as a headlining DJ to end the night.
You will need a ticket to get into the Bluebird portion of 'Bluebird Riverfest', but they are just $10. Floating the river, of course, will cost you nothing.
What completes the Boise summer experience? It's floating the Boise river.
The river runs right through the City of Boise and when the weather is hot, it's a great place to people watch, cool off, or just see folks coming to life. On August 29th, your river experience is getting elevated!
