Celebrity Band ‘Switchfoot’ Just Gave Idaho Some Serious Love

The secret is out, Idaho. We're a pretty great place to visit, an amazing place to vacation and unplug, and yes--even Hollywood knows about us now. Whether it's the 'millionaire summer camp' in Sun Valley that brings in Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, and more--or if it's a casual weekend with the Biebers in Idaho, the list of celeb sightings in our state continue to grow.

While tapping through Facebook, we quickly noticed that a popular name in music was spotted in North Idaho, enjoying some time as a band!

Switchfoot posted a whole reel on their time 'surfing' in Idaho!

Of course there are no ocean waves in Idaho but they enjoyed "wake surfing" behind a boat and had some fun pretending to be on the ocean.

Lake Pend Oreille is what sits right on Sandpoint, Idaho and that's where the band was. It is Idaho's largest and deepest lake and is actually one of the top 5 deepest lakes in America!

The United State Navy even uses this lake for deep sea practice when it comes to diving, submarines, and other military technology.

On November 20th of this year, Switchfoot will be performing in Garden City, Idaho. Surfing of any kind will likely be totally off the table in that weather, though.
