Idaho’s Lori Vallow Seeks to Overturn Multiple Murder Convictions
Remember the name Lori Vallow? The convicted murderer that took the lives of her own children--and others--currently sitting in an Idaho prison for the rest of her life?
She's back in the news and somehow, nobody is shocked.
It wasn't long ago that Vallow was hitting primetime, national television--by way of the show 'Dateline'.
Unlike most specials, where Dateline covered the crimes and talks to investigators or victims--Vallow's special featured...HER. It's clear she always wanted attention. The special featured a first: Lori sitting one on one for an interview where, she claimed she would 'tell the truth'.
Take a look at how much drama was taking place online when the interview was first announced by Dateline:

Viewers were not happy about Vallow's time on Dateline!
After two hours on NBC in primetime -- the consensus was clear. Despite teasing that Keith Morrison and Lori Vallow spent over an hour together, viewers were shown, primarily, re-runs of old Vallow coverage and very little of her interview.
All of this was going on while Vallow was in custody in Arizona, for the death of Charles Vallow. She had already left Idaho -- a convicted murderer.
Back in the news? Of course she is.
Vallow now seeks having her convictions overturned--and her appeal is in the hands of the Idaho Supreme Court.
She claims, through her legal counsel, that the court violated her rights to a speedy trial. Document say that that the court 'wrongfully' removed Daybell's attorney of choice and cites that they did so with no conflict-of-interest. The filing also claims that the court made decisions about her legal representation while her competency was under review.
In Idaho, Lori was sentenced to life without parole. Her husband, Chad, was sentenced to death.
