It's Stolen Bike Season In Southern Idaho: Hotel Thefts Reported

A mother and alleged victim of recent stolen property at a Twin Falls County hotel is asking the community for help after her three and eight-year-olds reportedly had their bikes jacked from an area hotel. The woman shared photos of the bicycles with hopes someone might notice a neighbor with newly acquired wheels.

Stealing a bicycle from a child is about as dirty a crime as they come. I know how it feels, because when I was in the seventh grade, some loser cut my lock and made off with it while I was in school; my best friend had his stolen at the same time, and the feeling sucks massively.

A Magic Valley mother took to a local Rants and Raves page and presented her case on July 6. She claims her children's bikes were taken recently from a county Extended Stay. The post, shared by someone named 'Jane,' included pictures of a black and red bike with training wheels, as well as a pink tricycle.

Bike Thefts From A Twin Falls County Hotel Were Reported By A Single Mother On July 6

'RANT!!!! STOLEN BIKES!!'

'Rant to the person who stole my 3 year olds pink tricycles, and my 8 year olds red and black dirt bike looking bicycles from the down town extended stay,' were the words shared by the mom on the Magic Valley Rants and Raves Meta page.

The victim claims she has contacted the office of the hotel to see if any footage of the crime was captured. If you have any information that can help get these bikes returned to the family, please come forward.
