When and Where is Comic Con in the Magic Valley?

Comic cons are typically known as nerd conventions, but with the popularity of Star Wars, Superhero movies and television shows, and video games, more and more people identify as a nerd. The most infamous comic con is the one in San Diego and is the one that most nerds would love to attend, but for many, it is unrealistic and will never happen. Over the last decade, many different types of cons have begun popping up everywhere, including smaller comic cons across the United States. Idaho is home to Gem State Comic Con in Boise each year, but it is finally time for the Magic Valley to get its own comic con, and this year that is finally happening.

The Magic Valley is set to host its own comic con in August and it has many in the area excited and most think it has been long overdue. Magic Valley Comic Con will be happening on Saturday, August 3, and Sunday, August 4 at the Magic Valley Mall. There will be special celebrity guests, vendors, food, and much more. What to Know About Magic Valley Comic Con

All costumes and props will be checked at the entrance, which will be between Kohl's and Hobby Lobby. All costumes must abide by the Magic Valley Mall Code of Conduct. Any weapons that go along with costumes must be safe versions. No tips on arrows, no armed weapons, and certain items may need to be tied to costumes. Nobody will be permitted to dress as first responders. To speed things up a bit, it is recommended that you register in advance. You can do so by clicking the link in the paragraph above.

There is still plenty of time to get your costume ready and to dress up for Magic Valley Comic Con. Make your costume, buy one, or don't wear one at all, it is your choice, but Magic Valley Comic Con should be a fun time for the whole family, and is something that Twin Falls has needed for a long time. Go out and see what all they have to offer, and if it is successful, it will likely get bigger and better in the years to come, and it all starts August 3 and 4 at the Magic Valley Mall.
