While it isn't officially spring, it is beginning to feel like it is off and on, and it has many itching to get outside and enjoy some spring activities on the weekend. Thursday, March 6 - Galaxy Watercolor Class
Are you someone looking to expand your artistic skills or want to learn how to paint? If so, there is a class that is perfect for you happening this Thursday. A Galaxy Watercolor Class is being offered at the Historic Wilson Theatre in Rupert at 7 PM. It is $30 per person and the class will include all supplies. Friday, March 7 - Valley House Gala
The Valley House is holding a gala event to celebrate their 30th anniversary and raise funds for their program. The gala will happen at the Canyon Crest Event Center beginning at 5:30PM.
Friday, March 7 - 2025 Cowgirl Bunco
The event is sold out this year, but you can still show up to see if any seats are vacant or to bid on the amazing silent auction items. The event and auction proceeds benefit the Rising Stars Therapeutic Riding center.
Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 - Grandy's Spring Craft Show
It may not be officially spring yet, but with the calendar now in March, now is the time to begin decorating and shopping like it is the season. This weekend you can enjoy a spring shopping experience at Grandy's Spring Craft Show. The event will be happening at the Twin Falls Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday, with doors being open from 10 AM to 5 PM both days, and admission is free. Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 - CSI Baseball
With the weather not being terrible, it might be nice to get outside and enjoy a baseball game cheering on the local college team. The CSI baseball team will be in action multiple times this weekend, with two games on Friday and two games on Saturday. The team will be playing Clark College this weekend with games at 1 PM and 3 PM on Friday, and at noon and 2 PM on Saturday. Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 - CSI Intercollegiate Rodeo
Living in Idaho, it is a must to attend at least one rodeo in your life, and CSI offers some of the best collegiate rodeos you will find anywhere in the country. The CSI Intercollegiate Rodeo is happening this Friday and Saturday at the CSI Expo Center. Doors open at 5:30 PM each night, with the rodeo beginning at 7 PM. Finding entertainment in the Magic Valley isn't always easy, but luckily the Orpheum Theatre has plenty of shows throughout the year. This weekend 'Cinderella' will be performed and there will be multiple chances to catch a show. There will be two shows this weekend with one on Friday and another one on Saturday. This is a great event for the whole family, as there will be gems, minerals, rocks, jewelry, and much more. The event will be at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday, being open from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and from 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. Saturday, March 8 - 2nd Saturday Youth Are Class: St Patrick's Day
This weekend will mark the second Saturday of March, and for those unaware every second Saturday of a month marks a free art class for youth at the Magic Valley Arts Council. The class takes place on Saturday from 10 AM to noon and they will stop accepting walk-ins at 11:30 AM. Saturday, March 8 - Movie Matinee
Going to the movies is a great way to spend a weekend afternoon or evening, but it can be a little too pricey these days.
