Enjoy These 10 Events This Spring Weekend in the Magic Valley

April is flying by, and the second weekend of the month is already here. Soon it will be Easter and everyone will be celebrating, but before then, there is a weekend of shopping, fun, and activities. There is plenty to do this weekend to get out and enjoy, and the weather is setting up well to encourage residents to do so. Get out and check out one of the many events this weekend in the Magic Valley and have some fun.

Thursday, April 10 - Spring Landscape Watercolor Class

Have you ever wanted to be an artist but need to work on your skills? Are you someone who wants to become a better painter? This weekend offers you the chance to do so by attending the Spring Landscape Watercolor Class happening at the Historic Wilson Theatre in Rupert this Thursday at 7 PM. Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 - HWY 93 Spring Indoor Vendor Show

Springtime is a great time to get out and do some shopping for spring and Easter décor, gifts for Mother's Day and Father's Day, or to browse for hidden treasures. A great place to do all of these things is this weekend at the HWY 93 Spring Indoor Vendor Show. It is happening on Friday and Saturday at 392 E 300 S in Jerome. The show will be from 10 AM to 5 PM on Friday and from 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturday. They will have antiques, jewelry, vintage items, food, and much more. Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 - CSI Softball

It's been a while since they have played at home, but the CSI softball team is back in action this weekend. They will play four games, with two on Friday and two on Saturday. The team is currently 24-13 and on a three-game winning streak. This weekend they will play Salt Lake Community College who they won 3 out of 4 against earlier this season. Saturday, April 12 - 2nd Saturday Youth Art Class

The second Saturday of every month the Twin Falls Art Council offers a free youth art class. This Saturday would be that weekend and the class will be from 10 AM to noon at the Twin Falls Art Council. This month they will be focusing on bright colors and unique folded paper sandwich techniques. Those attending must be 18 or younger and walk-ins are welcomed until 11:30 AM. Saturday, April 12 - Ripped Swag Spring Vendor Event

Shopping locally is something highly encouraged these days, and it doesn't get any more local than attending a vendor event. This weekend Ripped Swag will be holding their Spring Vendor Event at the Twin Falls Senior Center, located at 530 Shoshone St in Twin Falls. The event will be from 10 AM to 3 PM this Saturday and will include a variety of vendors. Saturday, April 12 - The Boozy Bunny Hunt

Easter is happening next weekend and many are preparing for multiple Easter egg hunts, but you don't have to wait for the holiday weekend or be a kid as this weekend The Boozy Bunny Hunt will be happening on Saturday at 1 PM at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds. Saturday, April 12 - Annual Easter Egg Hunt

While the adults will have an Easter egg hunt this weekend mentioned in the paragraph above, what about the children? They too will not have to wait until next weekend as the Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Rupert will be happening this Saturday at 1 PM at 521 5th Street. Saturday, April 12 - Easter Cake Decorating Class

Many people enjoy making an Easter cake for the holiday, but for many, it might be simple or not turn out the way you desire. This weekend you can attend an Easter Cake Decorating Class at Holesinsky on Saturday from 2 PM to 4 PM. The class is $45 but includes a cake to decorate, frosting and decorations, a flight of three award-winning wines, and instructions on how to decorate from Idahome Sweets. Saturday, April 12 - Movie Matinee

Going to the movies is great, but it costs a decent amount of money.
