Reminder: Time to Change Your Clocks in ID, WA, and UT is Happening Next Month
The dreaded time of the year is fast approaching, and no matter how much people groan and moan about it, the time change is set to happen soon. The government has talked about eliminating the change, but it is yet to happen and is not going to happen in 2025. The days on the calendar are ticking by, and soon it will be that time to change the time and welcome longer days. Mark your calendars, the day to change clocks is fast approaching and will be occurring next month, and you won't want to forget to do it.
When is Daylight Saving Time in ID, UT, and WA?
The worst time change of the two is set to happen in March, with the clocks springing forward an hour and causing many to lose an hour of sleep. The time change will take place on Sunday, March 9 at 2 AM, as it does every time. Idaho, Washington, and Utah will all need to make this change to enjoy longer daylight, moving forward. The good news is that the next change won't take place for another 7 months when the clocks will fall back in November. It may seem earlier than usual, but this is actually around the same time of year that the change typically takes place. For those hoping to see the end of daylight saving, you can do so by living in Arizona or Hawaii, or hoping the government finally ends it sometime next year or within the next couple of years.
Time Change in Idaho, Washington, and Utah
Many in all three states have been clamoring for daylight saving to end, yet no change has taken place. The new regime in the White House has mentioned eliminating the change, nationwide, but until that day comes, it will continue to be done. If a change does happen, the question is does the country settle on daylight saving time, or on standard time? It would all even out, but the extra daylight would be appreciated, especially in the summer, and help have daylight longer during the cold winters in all three states.

The dreaded time is almost here and will be here before you know it. Make sure to change any clocks that need it in your vehicles or around your home, and luckily your phone, computers, and watches will likely update themselves. March 9 will be here soon, and after that, it'll be about getting your sleep schedule adjusted in the coming days.
