People from around the world flock to Southern Idaho to see the Shoshone Falls, Evel Knievel Jump Site, to BASE Jump, or just to enjoy the great outdoors.

But some people are finding that their car isn’t where they left it at a certain Idaho riverfront park.

Towing Companies Are Taking Cars From This Idaho Parking Lot: and It’s Legal

The park is Centennial Waterfront Park in Twin Falls, and despite recent upgrades, ample signage, and additional parking, some people are still parking illegally. The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office posted pictures on social media of five vehicles they had to have towed over the weekend.

It was great news for us, but no doubt made for a terrible day for the person who came back from their adventure and couldn’t find their car.

Centennial Park was closed a few years ago, in 2023, as one of the main sites for the Quagga Mussel infestation and subsequent eradication process. Since then, a boat and kayak wash station has been set up along with dozens of additional parking spaces for non-trailer-towing vehicles.
