A man wanted for crimes tied to Idaho is on the most wanted list from the FBI. The crimes date back to 2016 and 2017 from a fraud scheme through the KA Investments, LLC company.

FBI Most Wanted: Idaho Fugitive on the Run Since 2017

The man, 72-year-old Rodney Dean Allen was charged with wire fraud after allegedly defrauding clients from his brokerage company, KA Investments, LLC. The wanted poster and information from the FBI claims that Allen obtained money from his clients with ‘false pretenses and promises, and misappropriating their money’.

The FBI shared 2 examples of his criminal activity:

For instance, on December 6, 2016, Allen allegedly emailed a November 2016 monthly statement to a client. In the statement, Allen represented that the client’s account had earned 1.903 percent that month. In reality, the client’s account had lost 36.01 percent.

Furthermore, Allen allegedly misrepresented to clients of KA Investments, LLC that he was taking between a 14-percent and 18-percent commission on investment profits. In truth, he was misappropriating client deposits for his personal use, regardless of profit or loss, and at a greater percentage.

Allen hasn’t been seen since April 20th, 2017 and an arrest warrant was issued on January 10, 2018, after Allen was charged with wire fraud. There is a reward up to $10,000 for information that leads to his arrest.
