A driver from Utah was injured in a semi-truck rollover accident in eastern Idaho. Idaho State Police are investigating the accident.

The accident happened on Friday, February 27th at 3:08 PM on State Highway 22 near mile marker 67, about 2 miles west of the city of Dubois. The police report states:

  • A 46-year-old male from Centerfield, Utah, was driving a 2024 Freightliner Semi-truck eastbound on SH 22.
  • The semi went off the right shoulder and rolled.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt, but was transported to a local hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

Idaho State Police also reported a fatal motorcycle accident near the Utah border. A 55-year-old man was riding a Harley-Davidson near Malad City when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed. He passed away at the scene of the accident.
