Idaho Man Arrested For Alleged Death Threats Against Donald Trump
A north Idaho man has pleaded not guilty to federal charges that allege he threatened the life of former President Donald Trump through a series of phone calls and online posts. The man is currently awaiting a court date in Kootenai County Jail.
A Sandpoint man who claimed he was Native American royalty is being held on charges of threatening the life of a former president, which is a federal offense and can result in up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, according to information shared by KREM 2 News.
According to the calendar on his official website, Trump has upcoming appearances in Michigan and Wisconsin.
Warren Jones Crazybull was detained in Montana by federal authorities after he allegedly made nine phone calls to Trump's Florida residence as well as posted messages on social media of a threatening nature, according to Hindustan Times.
On July 13, 2024, an attempt on Donald Trump's life was made by a gunman while giving a speech in Pennsylvania. The shooter was killed by security after managing to get multiple shots off at the former president from less than 200 yards away. Trump had a bullet graze his ear before being shielded by security.
On September 15, another gunman fired shots in the vicinity of Trump while he was golfing with a friend in West Palm Beach. This marked the second attempt on Trump's life in eight weeks. Police later arrested the gunman.
