Jerome Man Sentenced For Selling Drugs
A man in this country illegally will spend the next eight years of his life in a U.S. federal prison for selling drugs and other charges. 37 year old Julio Cardelas-Martinez was arrested along with several others last February in Jerome after police raided a house near the Jerome High School.
Cardelas-Martinez pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in July. After his 8 year and one month sentence is served he will then be deported. Some of the other co-defendants in that bust have already been sentenced and others are still awaiting sentencing or a jury trial.
