CASSIA COUNTY, Idaho (KLIX) A motorcyclist had to air lifted to a hospital after his motorcycle went off Interstate 84 on Saturday north of the Idaho/Utah state line. Idaho State Police say 68 year old Michael McKennedy, of Denton, Texas, was riding a BMW motorcycle going east when he drove into the median near mile marker 252. McKennedy was thrown from the cycle.

He was airlifted by helicopter to an eastern Idaho hospital. State police say the rider had been wearing his helmet. The eastbound lanes of I-84 were closed for a little more than an hour.
