Mountain Home Man Dies in Early Morning Crash
MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (KLIX) – A 36-year-old Mountain Home man died early Wednesday morning after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in Owyhee County.
A Magic Valley man also was involved in the crash, but did not sustain any injuries, according to Idaho State Police.
ISP was called to the scene a little before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to its report, Armand Mason, 36, was driving northbound on State Highway 51 when he crossed the center line and collided with a construction sweeper, driven by 29-year-old James Cole of Declo.
Mason rolled off the shoulder and was ejected from the vehicle. Mason, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene due to his injuries. Cole was not injured.
