Mysterious Liquid Spill Closes Twin Falls Intersection

HAZMAT crews were called to a small fluid spill early yesterday afternoon at the corner of Pole Line Road and Bridgeview Blvd  at the corner of the Twin Falls Home Depot. 

Motorists had reported a small container full of an unknown liquid in the middle of the road that was leaking a substance that was causing a vapor. The intersection was closed while the HAZMAT team contained the liquid and tried to determine what exactly it was.  The liquid was contained in a 2-gallon weed sprayer.  The liquid was cleaned up and the container removed by 2 o’clock when traffic was restored.  AN investigation is still continuing to determine just what the liquid was and who may have dropped it.
