Oakley Man Takes Deal for Tapping Young Children

BURLEY, Id. ( KMVT/KSVT) An Oakley man will spend 90 days in the county jail after a plea deal was reached in a video voyeurism case on Tuesday.

Benjamin Hardy 39, earlier plead not guilty to 12 video voyeurism charges in which he was accused of setting up cameras in bathrooms and a massage room at a home in 2014 and recorded 10 children using a toilet, a teen girl getting a massage in her underwear and a teen girl taking a bath.

Instead, Hardy admitted to three of the charges in accepting the plea deal. In addition to the 90 days in jail, he was sentenced to 15 years of supervised probation, ordered to pay all court costs for the conviction and to register as a sex offender.
