Public Could Play Bigger Part in Park Development
(KLIX)- Recently the Twin Falls Rotary Club teamed up with Glanbia and the city to build a community playground. Most of the money came from the cheese manufacturer. Glanbia donated $40,ooo. The Twin Falls Rotary Club came up with $20,000. With that they completed a playground set in the South Estates subdivision. The project was done completely without city funding. Don Acheson with Rotary says the city might see more partnerships like this when public funds are short. The Rotary club has requested the parks name be changed to "Blue Lakes Rotary Park"
