According to the park's website, departments across the board were either short-staffed, or not staffed at all, including security at entrance gates and emergency responders.
While it isn't always helpful to point fingers, the gridlock in Washington does make one wonder who needs to get moving. Especially with leaders all over the map pointing fingers at the guy across the aisle.
