(KTVB) The Occupy Boise encampment has won a partial reprieve.  Occupy Boise sought an injunction against a new law meant to evict the group from their encampment near the state Capitol. U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill ruled this morning that he plans to hold an evidentiary hearing in the near future to allow both sides to present evidence in this case.

Last night was likely last night for members of the “Occupy Boise” protest to camp out on state property across from the Idaho Statehouse.  The House on Friday passed emergency legislation to remove the protesters from their encampment.

(AP) - The Idaho Senate voted to ban camping from state-managed land, a move that would expel a tent encampment erected by Occupy Boise protesters in early November on the old Ada County Courthouse grounds. Tuesday's 26-9 vote sends the measure back to the House.

State lawmakers have taken the first step toward ending the Occupy Boise camp. The House State Affairs Committee passed a bill this morning that would prevent camping on state property. House Bill 404 is being sent to the House floor with a "do pass" recommendation...

An "Occupy Twin Falls" event is scheduled for Saturday starting at 1 p.m.  Organizers say the event will start at the corner of Main Ave. and Shoshone Street in Twin Falls.  Participants will march down Shoshone Street and Blue Lakes then make their way back to the downtown area...

Some are claiming the Occupy Wall Street protesters are middle class America striking back at greedy banks and a non-responsive government.  Others claim they are just a bunch of unemployed moochers with lots of time on their hands interspersed with sex-crazed teens and some homeless people...
