Twin Falls could soon have a new city manager. 39 year old assistant city manager Travis Rothweiler has been tapped to take over the position from long time manager Tom Courtney who is retiring at the end of March. Rothweiler was hired as an assistant in 2008. Before that he served as Jerome city administrator. A search committee poured over applications and resumes and decided that Rothweiler was the right man for the job. City leaders say his promotion will mean a smooth transition once Courtney retires. The committee is set to make their recommendation to the twin falls city council Monday night.
