2015 Western Days Parade Survival Guide
Western Days is upon us and it brings with it one of Twin Falls' best parades. Make sure that you're covered this year with our Western Days Parade Survival Guide. We cover everything from where not to park, to keeping hydrated.
- 1
Avoid Road Closures
The Parade kicks off at 9am, so that means various roads around Twin Falls will be closed earlier too. Make your travel plans accordingly and check our full Western Days Parade Road Closures.
- 2
Where Not To Park
The Western Days Parade travels quite a distance--from Falls all the way down to the City Park. Where's the best place to park, and where should you absolutely not park?
- 3
Bring Chairs
The Western Days Parade is one of Twin Falls' best, and also one of its longest. Make sure you have a comfortable seat for the Parade. Folding camping chairs are perfect for the occasion.
- 4
Stay Hydrated
Unlike previous years, temperatures are supposed to rise into the mid to upper 80s for Western Days weekend, but you still need to keep hydrated. We recommend bringing bottled water to keep with you during the parade.

Don't Let Your Kids Run In The Street
We all see it every year: it's a mad dash of little kids running into the street to get candy thrown by one of the floats. The kids just want candy and don't realize how dangerous it really is. Please, keep your kids back at the curb with you and if a couple of pieces of candy land in the street just let them go.
