5 Magic Valley Attorneys Apply for Judge Position

(KLIX)-Seven people have applied for a vacant magistrate judge position in Cassia County. The Trial Court Administrator's office announced Calvin Campbell of Wendell, Blaine Cannon of Burley, Stan Holloway of Burley, David Hooste of Firth, Kerry McMurray of Burley, Gregory Swanson of Meridian, and Douglas Whipple of Burley applied for the position of Judge Rick Bollar. Judge Bollar is replacing Judge Larry Duff who is retiring. The Fifth Judicial District Magistrates Commission will meet to review the applicants. Questionnaires will be mailed to attorneys state wide. The general public can comment by calling the Trial Court Administrators office at 736-4085.
