BASE Jumper Injured after Leap from Hansen Bridge

JEROME COUNTY, Id. ( KMVT / KSVT ) Law enforcement agencies responded to a report of an injured base jumper below the Hansen Bridge Sunday. According to Sgt. West of the Jerome County Sheriff's Office, Servesh Dhadwal, 43, hit the bottom of the canyon on what looked to be an island. The water level is really low and Air St. Luke's was able to land on that island to transport him.

It's believed that the base jumper suffered injuries to his lower right leg, but nothing is life–threatening. It is unknown at this time if his parachute malfunctioned.
