A brush fire blocked several lanes of Interstate 84 near Twin Falls last night. Idaho State Police, the Bureau of Land Management and Jerome County were all called to assist on the fire near I-84, just east of the U.S. 93 Interchange.

The fire started south of the interstate in the Devil's Corral area. The fire then jumped the interstate and began moving erratically. Lightning in the area is believed to be the cause of the fire. At one time, traffic was being diverted off I-84. Twin Falls BLM said Interstate 84 was down to one lane in each direction.
