MIDDLETON, Idaho(KLIX)-A 52-year-old man was killed when a piece of equipment came off a truck and struck his vehicle Thursday afternoon near Middleton. According to Idaho State Police, a juvenile driver in a Dodge Dakota failed to yield the right-of-way to a tow truck hauling a forklift at the intersection of Willis Road and Old Highway 30. The forklift loaded on the truck came off in the collision and hit a GMC Jimmy driven by a Caldwell man who died at the scene. The juvenile driver of the Dodge and a passenger along with a passenger in the GMC were taken to area hospitals. The crash remains under investigation.
