(AP)  A former principal in the southeastern Idaho town of Blackfoot has pleaded not guilty to three counts of sexually abusing a child. Prosecutors say 38-year-old Christopher Cox had sexual relations
with a 14-year-old female student last year. Cox pleaded not guilty during a Bingham County court hearing on Monday. His next court appearance is set for June 11. Cox had been principal at Snake River Junior High School for four years when he submitted his resignation in February. Each count carries a maximum penalty of up to 25 years in prison.
