Four Suspects Plead Guilty To Public Land Pot Grow Operations.
Francisco Cardona-Rodriguez pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy to manufacture/distribute 1,000 or more marijuana plants during a hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Candy Dale in Boise. Co-defendants Heber Franco-Lombera of Bieber, Calif., along with Jose Cardona-Ramirez and Victoria Villa-Gonzalez, both of Caldwell, Idaho, pleaded guilty to the same charge last month. Prosecutors allege the four were involved in marijuana grow sites that produced over 12,000 plants. Sentencing is set for late November for three of the defendants and mid-December for Francisco Cardona-Rodriguez, who previously lived in Rio Grande City, Texas.
