Unions representing teachers and some in government who believe they know better than parents when it comes to raising kids.

This is the body of an email I received from a member of the Newsradio 1310 KLIX audience:

"I’m a former Californian. We witnessed quickly how bad the public education was over 20 years ago. We chose to homeschool. I figured that I couldn’t possibly mess my five children up more than our public education system.

As a result , we have five productive adults who never returned to live in our basement . Today we have a son whose a Special Forces Army Helicopter Pilot, three own their own businesses, another a successful real estate professional. They own their own home, have investment properties. Two of them bought their first home at 17 years of age. They all completed high school at the ages of 15 and 16.

I firmly believe people need to begin to homeschool in mass to save this society."
Beyond the personal sacrifice being made by homeschooling families, there are tremendous pressures from a multitude of outside forces.  Unions representing teachers and some in government who believe they know better than parents when it comes to raising kids.
