Last weekend felt like fall weather and kept many residents in the Magic Valley indoors or out of the water, but this weekend should feel closer to a summer weekend. Thursday, June 26 Through Saturday, June 28 - 'Matilda Jr.'
With temperatures getting closer to summer weather, sitting inside a cold theatre is never a bad idea. This weekend you will have a chance to see a classic as 'Matilda Jr.' will be performed at the Orpheum Theatre this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Friday, June 27 - Teen Summer Reading Escape Room
Do you have a teen that you are looking to get out of the house this summer for some fun? If so, make sure to take them to the Teen Summer Reading Escape Room at the Twin Falls Public Library this Friday at 2 PM. The event is for kids going into 6th grade all the way up to 12th grade. June is pride month and as the month comes to an end, there is time for one big final event to celebrate. This Friday, Clash of Queens will be taking place at Lamphouse Theatre in Twin Falls. Saturday, June 28 - Market on Main
One of the best parts about summer is all the markets that take place in the Magic Valley. There are many farmer's markets around the area, but the Market on Main is one of the best as it takes place each Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM on Main Street in Twin Falls. There are plenty of vendors to shop, stores on Main Street, and live music as you walk around and browse. Saturday, June 28 - Movie Matinee
Going to the movies in the summer is something many enjoy. A cold studio, a blockbuster movie, and popcorn are great ways to spend a summer afternoon, but it can be costly. Saturday, June 28 - Jerome Freedom Fest
The Fourth of July is still a week away, but that doesn't mean you have to wait to celebrate your freedom. Jerome Freedom Fest will be happening this Saturday beginning at 3 PM and will be happening at 300 E Main Street in Jerome. There will be vendors, food trucks, and live music, with concerts by Layne Bowen and Lavallee & Katie Ontiveros. There will also be fun and fireworks to end the night.
