What would you do? What would you do if you wanted In-N-Out and the line was weaving in and out of a parking lot and backed into the street? How long would you wait? Would go inside and try your luck that way? Would you skip the line altogether and have something else? Would the line and wait not matter and you sit and wait for your food as your hunger grows? This has been a debate for any long line when it comes to getting food, but specifically when it comes to one of the most popular fast food chains in the country, is it worth the wait or not?

When someone is hungry their patience grows thin. The word 'hangry,' exists for a reason. Sometimes we get cravings that no matter how long we have to wait, how much we have to spend, or how far we have to drive, we have to satisfy the craving, and for many In-N-Out seems to be that place. The Magic Valley is set to welcome In-N-Out shortly, and it is expected that the line will be outrageous, similar to most In-N-Outs in America. When it does arrive, how long would you wait to get that hamburger, fries, and shake? In a fast-moving society, few people have the patience to wait long for anything, especially for a fast food burger, but others say the wait is worth it and no line will stop them from enjoying a meal.

Long Lines at In-N-Out

Recently, Swig in Twin Falls held $1 drinks for a day, and many decided to take advantage of this great deal. A long line formed that weaved in and out of the Outback parking lot and eventually made its way out onto Blue Lakes. This is the fear that many have when In-N-Out arrives in Twin Falls and shows when customers want something bad enough, no matter how long the line, they will wait. At what point is the line too long for you to wait in and what is worth waiting for and what isn't? The $1 drink deal was one day only, meaning most would be patient for this rare opportunity, but when In-N-Out arrives, it will not be a one-day thing and will be available every day. Sometimes the line will be long and other times not, but how long is too long? 15 minutes? 20 minutes? 30 minutes? When do you say it isn't worth the wait?

The next time something like Swig occurs or when In-N-Out arrives, or perhaps when you are craving Chick-fil-A or Taco Bell, when do you say the line is too long and not worth it for fast food? Everyone has their limit, but what is yours? If the craving is strong enough it may not matter, but if only looking for a hot meal, you might be best looking elsewhere. If you see a long line for a fast food place you are craving, what would you do?
