Idaho State Police are investigating a 3-vehicle crash that happened in Nampa involving a concrete truck, a car, and a construction crane.

The accident affected traffic on the interstate for around 3 hours as workers cleared the area.

ISP reported the accident had happened in a construction zone on interstate 84 near milepost 33 around 1:24 PM on April 3rd. The driver of the concrete truck was taken to a local hospital.

Idaho State Police Investigating Construction Zone Accident in Nampa

The news release from the Idaho State Police included the following information:

A 2016 Ford F-650 concrete truck driven, by a 20-year-old male from Kuna and a 2005 Saturn ion driven by a 26-year-old male from Notus, were both traveling eastbound on Interstate 84.
The Ford truck was traveling in the right lane of travel when it left the right shoulder of the roadway, over corrected back onto the roadway, crossing into the middle lane where it struck the Saturn Ion.
Both vehicles collided with the median barrier where the Saturn Ion rolled, and the Ford truck collided with a parked crane in the construction zone.

ISP are investigating the accident.
