The Second Super Chix Restaurant in Idaho is Almost Ready to Open
The northwest side of Twin Falls has been booming over the last few years with new businesses. There’s a car wash, car dealer, a new strip mall with Panera, and the Tractor Supply is almost ready to open.
I drove by yesterday to grab a few pictures of the progress on one of the new restaurants that is quietly under construction. Super Chix will be on the opposite end of the strip mall to Panera and they specialize in chicken and custard.
A New Chicken Restaurant is Quietly Being Built in Twin Falls
There hasn’t been much noise around town about the Super Chix restaurant, and it took a bit of digging to get the info I found. One of the reasons we haven’t heard a lot about the construction process or restaurant plans is that they didn’t need to apply for much from the city since they are building in the already constructed Sun West Lazy J PUD, according to the City of Twin Falls Public Information Coordinator, Josh Palmer.
Other than the initial permit application and a recent street sign permit, they should only need the final inspection from the city before they open.
When Will Super Chix Open in Twin Falls, ID
I also wrote to Super Chix to see if they could give me any info on their progress, and it turns out we shouldn’t have to wait much longer. Their reply was that, barring any issues, they hope to open around the third week of October. They haven't posted any job openings yet for Twin Falls, but that will be one sign that they are getting close.
When I drove by, the exterior looked ready. There are signs for the business and even their hours of operation on the front doors. Inside, you can see there are walls going up and flooring boxes waiting to be opened and installed. Once they open, they specialize in chicken and custard - which should be interesting with Culver’s (also specializing in custard) right across the street.
