Wind and Flood Advisories Issued for Parts of Southern Idaho Wednesday
Hopefully you learned everything you need to know about Idaho wind last week because another round of strong gusts and rain is headed our way tonight.
Wednesday Wind Advisory Issued For Magic Valley
The National Weather Service out of Boise has issued another Wind Advisory for the Magic Valley with wind gusts expected to except 55 miles per hour. That means we can expect similar, if not more dangerous, conditions as during the Wind Advisory from last week which knocked down trees and fences, blew yard decorations and trampolines around, and knocked out power to sections of town. The strongest winds will happen at the beginning of the storm between midnight and 6 AM.

The Wind Advisory will be in effect starting Wednesday morning at 3 until 6 PM that evening. There will be rain and snow during and before the Wednesday morning commute, so road conditions could be less than ideal and dangerous in some places.
Central And Eastern Southern Idaho Locations To Experience Wind And Flooding
To the east of the Magic Valley, the conditions will be much worse. On top of the same Wind Advisory issued for the Magic Valley: Shoshone, Carey, Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Pocatello, and American Falls are also under a Flood Advisory until Wednesday afternoon. The flooding will be caused by the warmer temperatures melting the snow in these areas at a quick rate and the addition of some expected rainfall overnight.
