
Teens From Washington Run Car Into Liquour Store Fleeing From Idaho Police
A high-speed chase in Idaho ended in a fiery crash at a liquor store after juvenile driver lost control. The vehicle was engulfed in flames following the crash and officers were able to extinguish the fire enough to get the two occupants out of the vehicle.
Both occupants were juveniles from Washington and were taken to a local hospital for medical care. Video below shows the terrifying moment the accident happened.
Washington Teens Wreck Car After Fleeing From Cops in Idaho
The Idaho State Police released a report on the accident that happened on November 6th, 2025. The Coeur d’Alene Tribal Police had initiated a traffic stop a few minutes after 6 AM on a vehicle speeding on Highway 95, near Worley. The vehicle, a 2018 BMW 440, fled south on the highway and police followed for a short distance but terminated the chase for safety reasons.
A few minutes later, police received a call that a crash had happened in Worley involving the BMW. The car had left the highway and ran into the Worley Liquor Store, a few miles from the Washington border. The report states:
- Officers arrived on scene to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames in the parking lot.
- They were able to extinguish the flames enough to extricate both occupants, two juvenile males from Spokane Valley, Washington.
Both juveniles were taken to a local hospital. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and the passenger was.
UPDATE: The video in this Facebook post shows the moment the car hit the building, flew through the air, and caught fire.
A post on Facebook from residents in Worley appears to show the car on fire and after it was extinguished. From the pictures, it looks like the car landed on top of the building.
The accident is being investigated by the Idaho state Police and the Coeur d’Alene Tribal Police are investigating the criminal portion of the incident.
